Technology Education:  

Technology Education empowers students to explore ideas, acquire practical skills, and enhance critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.  Through immersive learning experiences, students can assess their strengths and interests for future programming options and career choices.  In Pembina Trails, we offer Technology Education courses in Commerce, Human Ecology, and Industrial Arts.

This infusion is essential for preparing students with the skills and adaptability needed to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.  In our ever-evolving technological landscape, it has become increasingly important for students to learn how to use educational technology effectively and ethically.  Students also receive instruction on digital citizenship, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking and positive online behaviour.  From utilizing aeroponic gardening systems to study sustainability, to exploring career options through drone usage in science, students are provided with diverse opportunities to expand their learning.  Educational technology is closely linked to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), an interdisciplinary approach that spans these four areas.
