Linden Meadows School Raises $1,214.10 in Annual Terry Fox Run
Linden Meadows School proudly held its annual Terry Fox Run on a beautiful, sunny afternoon, celebrating the legacy of a true Canadian hero. With 450 students participating, the school community came together for a run around the park loop, honoring Terry Fox’s courageous journey and continuing his mission to support cancer research.
In addition to the run, students and families contributed generously through a "Coin-a-Day" fundraiser, online donations, and a colouring contest, collectively raising an impressive $1,214.10 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our amazing Phys Ed staff for organizing the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Special thanks as well to Mrs. Stewart for her efforts in liaising with the Terry Fox Foundation and helping to coordinate our fundraising efforts.
Thank you to everyone in the Linden Meadows community for your enthusiastic support. The money raised will go directly toward cancer research and helps carry on Terry’s powerful legacy of hope and determination.
Together, we make a difference — just like Terry did.
