This is National Truth and Reconciliation Week and Pembina Trails will be joining schools all across the country in honouring and commemorating this important week where we continue to learn about and heal from the impact of residential schools on Canada's Indigenous peoples.

Earlier today École Van Walleghem School opened the National Week for Truth and Reconciliation with an assembly that featured an interactive presentation and performance called Orange delivered by Bella Flett from the Aboriginal School of Dance.
