At Royal School our Music program offers a wide variety of opportunities for the students to participate in not only the classroom but extracurricular opportunities as well, such as Grade 5 Recorder Club, Grades 3-5 Choir as well as Orff Club.

Kindergarten children learn to keep a steady beat on their bodies and with instruments as they sing and do a variety of musical activities.

Students also perform at one concert each year. Royal School rotates between having a spring concert one year, a winter concert the next year, and so on.  Performance is an important part of the music experience for the children.  A polished presentation, and the awareness of an audience, helps the children to learn and present appropriate stage presence.
