Congratulations to Linden Meadows, Janine Zajac on competing in the Boston Marathon!
Congratulations to our very own Janine Zajac, physical education teacher at Linden Meadows School who competed in the Boston Marathon, Monday, April 21st, 2025.
Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association is a non-profit organization with a mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. Each year there are over 32,000 people from across the world that participate in the Boston Marathon with hundreds of thousands of spectators.
With the sun shining down and a smile on her face, Janine ran an amazing race!
“Running the Boston Marathon was an unforgettable and deeply rewarding experience. From the energy of the crowds in Hopkinton to the final stretch down Boylston Street, every mile was filled with excitement, challenge, and inspiration. The support from the crowds was overwhelming and crossing the finish line felt like a celebration of months of dedication. I’m already looking forward to the day I get to go back and do it all over again!”
Congratulations, Janine! We are #PembinaTrailsProud of you
