The Beauty of Spring with Ms Nisby & Ms Gilmore's Grade 2's

Our Grade 2 class explored the bright and cheerful sunflowers painted by Vincent van Gogh as we welcomed the spring season. Students used crayons to blend warm colours like yellow, orange, and brown to create their own beautiful sunflower artworks. They practiced layering and mixing colours to show texture and depth in their petals and centres. The classroom is now filled with vibrant sunflowers that celebrate creativity and the arrival of spring.
