Mme. Jones' Classroom built cars to learn about motion

In Grade 1/2 Mme. Jones' classroom, we explored the concepts of position and motion, learning how different objects move. 

We studied how things can travel in different ways such as rolling and sliding as well as how wheels and axels help things travel. 

To apply our knowledge, we designed and built our own cars, then tested how they move using wheels and axels!

 This hands-on activity helped us better understand the science of motion while having fun experimenting!
