Mme. Zoe's Grade 1 Rembembrance Day Reflections

Mme Zoe's grade 1 class spent the weeks leading up to Remembrance Day learning and reflecting on what peace is and looks like. To honour the day, they finger painted poppies. They used red and black tempura paint for the base of their flowers, then used a paintbrush and green tempura paint for the stems. They used blue and turquoise watercolor for the sky. It got messy and it was so much fun. Great job grade 1's!"
