A Zoo adventure with Mme Saurette & Mme. Lavallee

Over the last month, the grade 4 French Immersion students have been learning all about animal habitats and communities. They started their learning by visiting the Assiniboine Park Zoo to learn about Arctic animal adaptations and then welcomed our divisional ISST teacher Jocelyn Bergunder to continue our learning through an Indigenous lense. With Mme B, students began a Reconciliation project where they chose a part of nature with which to reconcile. This has been positive experience and step for students on their path towards Reconciliation.
