Bairdmore School Play Structure Dream Soon to be a Reality!

In partnership with Bairdmore School, the Bairdmore School Advisory Council is excited to announce that combined with a significant investment of over $100 000 from the City of Winnipeg, with the recent investment of $100 000 from the Manitoba Government, https://news.gov.mb.ca/news/?archive=&item=71744, and the fundraising efforts of our school community over the past four years, our dream of a new play structure will soon be a reality.

With funding secured, the final approval stages are underway. The construction of the new structure is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2026, with the hope of opening for play at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.

We are thankful for the partnership and support of Councillor Janice Lukes and MLA Jennifer Chen throughout this process and look forward to our dream becoming a reality over the next months at Bairdmore School.
