Hands-On, Rich Learning Experiences at the Manitoba Museum

The Grade Five students went on a field trip to the Manitoba Museum. They participated in self-guided tours of the Science Gallery and the Museum Galleries. Students asked questions, integrated new learning and made new discoveries as they looked, listened, touched, and explored. Their experiences on this field trip connected learning to Science and Social Studies as the students also attended sessions on Physical and Chemical Changes and the Fur Trade and some even had a visit to the Planetarium.
